Until this week, Potshots was being emailed to over 400 readers, most members of a small gun club I am an officer and member of. I was providing the newsletter free-of-charge as a public service, simply giving my time providing the information in exchange for the use of the email list for the club. It is delivered as a .pdf file weekly every Thursday or Friday, and provides links to articles of interest elsewhere online.
Access to the email list was challenged, so the decision was made to divest Potshots from any and all connections to the gun club and create a new private list. I am not naive, and I know many people didn’t want to receive the newsletter and didn’t want to read it, so it wasn’t a difficult decision to work with people who wanted to receive it.
FREE subscriptions to Potshots are now available for anyone by sending an email to: potshotsnews@gmail.com
and putting “YES” in the subject line.
Previous issues are available on this site at: https://theloadedmag.com/news/news.html
Let me assure you that your email address is safe and will never be shared for any reason. Online security is important to each of you, and I respect that. I will never flood your email box with other offers of any kind – if you receive something other than Potshots let me know and I’ll find out how and why.
As a means of growing the circulation of Potshots, if you know of anyone who might benefit from their own subscription, share the email above and have them contact me to get signed up. They can email “YES” just as you did to the address: potshotsnews@gmail.com. If you don’t want to receive Potshots any longer, send me an email with “STOP” in the subject line.
Along similar lines, if you see something that could be shared with Potshots readers, send it my way. My daily email is the source of most of the content for the newsletter, and it’s constantly growing.
I work hard trying to provide you with premium firearms-related content, and hope you enjoy what you’re reading each week. I thank all of you for the positive comments as the changeover begins.
